# WoundedWarrierPhones — MCP instructions

Paste-ready instructions for Verae MCP (or any digests-only timestamping agent) to recreate the **Wounded Warrier Mobile / Trackit-Fax phone lifecycle** sample project.

## Goal

Build a **Trackit-Fax** style sample for cell phones:

1. Seal each phone’s identity as `SHA-256(IMEI)` once on Verae’s global timestamp ledger.
2. Append **versioned JSON metadata** for every lifecycle state change (nothing overwritten).
3. Produce readable history reports (PDF) for one live lab phone, a **50-device fleet**, one deep-dive IMEI, and an executive summary.
4. Frame ~⅓ of the fleet as **Wounded Warrier Mobile (WWM)** nonprofit beneficiaries with free phone and/or free service, while still tracking **retail FMV** for tax-credit reporting.

Spelling in samples: **“Wounded Warrier Mobile”** (as given). Alias: **WWM**.

## Product rules (must not violate)

- **Digests only.** Never upload IMEI plaintext, PDFs, or customer PII to the stamp API as file bytes. Hash locally; stamp the digest.
- **One on-chain seal per digest.** Later history = append-only metadata versions under schema `verae.asset.phone.lifecycle/v1`.
- Re-submitting an already-sealed digest for prove is **timestamp-readonly / $0** for the seal path.
- Event business times live in metadata `content.event_at`. Meta write times / timestamp IDs come from `meta_history`.
- Prove/verify subjects: `verae.substrate.prove` / `verae.substrate.verify` (or MCP `stamp` / `verify` / `hash_report` with `want_scope=global` when available).
- Prefer product hosts: `api.verae.ai`, `services.verae.ai`, `mcp.verae.ai`, `explorer.verae.ai`. Auth: `xVerae-` for commercial edge; MCP bearer for session tools.

## Canonical lifecycle (six metadata versions)

In order:

1. `manufactured`
2. `shipped_to_distributor` (warehouse, e.g. `DIST-LAX-03`)
3. `sold_to_customer`
4. `activated`
5. `service_billed_prepaid` (e.g. monthly × 6)
6. `returned_for_recycling` (only when recycled; warehouse `RECYCLE-MFG-OR-01`)

Each version is JSON metadata appended to the same sealed digest.

## MCP / agent workflow

### A. Live lab phone (Report 1)

1. Choose demo IMEI `356938032484611` (VeraePhone A1) or mint a new synthetic IMEI.
2. Compute `digest = sha256(IMEI)` hex lowercase.
   - Known demo digest: `ee9a48571efbebb681587322b55e41f3603ca4e235f9d8036337c2d1e80957a1`
3. MCP **stamp** the digest (global / edge as configured). Capture `receipt_id`.
4. For each of the six lifecycle events, append metadata (schema `verae.asset.phone.lifecycle/v1`) with stage name, `event_at`, price fields, warehouse codes, customer TCO notes.
   - Lab pricing example: sold `$49.95`; prepaid `$19.95 × 6` → service `$119.70`; TCO `$169.65`.
5. MCP **verify** the receipt; optional **hash_report** for history.
6. Build PDF **IMEI-Lifecycle-Carfax.pdf** (or copy into this project) from sqlite/meta history + receipt.

Experiment path on ns1 (ops): `~/verae-perf-corpus/experiments/imei-lifecycle/` (`run_imei_carfax.py`, run id e.g. `run-20261020T082423Z`).

### B. Fleet of 50 (Report 2)

1. Generate `fleet50-data.json` with 50 customers:
   - **17** nonprofit full free (phone + service)
   - **11** free phone only
   - **11** free service only
   - **11** standard paid
   - Recycled subset (e.g. **8**)
2. For each IMEI: seal digest once; append 5 or 6 lifecycle metadata versions (6 if recycled).
3. Track **retail phone value** even when charged `$0` (tax-credit FMV).
4. Emit **IMEI-Fleet-50-Carfax.pdf** with sections:
   - Customer summary (name, IMEI, phone cost, service term, monthly, TCO)
   - Non-profit tax-credit summary
   - Warehouse shipments (`DIST-LAX-03`)
   - Recycling (`RECYCLE-MFG-OR-01`)
   - IMEI register
   - Per-customer lifecycle detail
   - Retail price appendix (e.g. Oct 2026 unlocked refs)
5. Illustrative fleet stats used in samples: retail phone value ~`$38,782.77`; TCO charged ~`$20,745.74`; WWM tax-credit FMV ~`$15,315.62`.

### C. Single fleet deep-dive (Report 3)

1. Pick IMEI `359291081006720` (cust_050 Eden Miller / Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max / `nonprofit_full`).
2. Digest: `a47c0ae3404760eb063f1349dc8bce762539ccaee925bdee55d107306a693329`
3. Emit **IMEI-359291081006720-Carfax.pdf** + sidecar JSON: cover KV, on-chain receipt, billing/tax-credit table, timeline, per-version metadata, appendix receipt JSON.

### D. Executive summary

Build **Verae-IMEI-Reports-Summary.pdf**:

cover → executive summary → **table of contents immediately after exec summary** → tracking model → stamp billing (rate card, types A–E) → invoices (Report 1 Models A/B, Report 3, Fleet 50) → cost summary → catalog/comparison → artifacts/disclaimer.

Rule of thumb: **pay when the chain writes**; history reads are free.

Commercial stamps: `POST https://services.verae.ai/v1/timestamp` with `x-api-key: xVerae-…` and digests-only body. MCP meters on the edge when `VERAE_MCP_EDGE_URL` is set.
